See, I am giving birth today via C-Section (yep, this is a scheduled post ). Please pray that the operation will go smoothly for me and the baby. We are ecstatic about the coming of our second daughter and I will try to share more about it when I have recovered.

Last night, the gracious hosts of The Host, Julie Chen and Sheryl Underwood, gifted the team with $10,000 to augment family expenses. Mark recently lost his job as State Inspector while Bopper has a seven-year daughter suffering from an illness.

This team is quite inspiring. They fought until the end, even Bopper shaved his head hoping the Fast Forward would help them stay in the race. But the setback from the previous episode (Bollywood dancing) placed them far behind the four other teams, in addition to injury and exhaustion, the Fast Forward just wasn’t enough. Every time this two would reach the pit stop last, the scene is always emotional. It just goes to show that this team is more than the tough guys they show on TV. They were saved twice, because of the non-elimination legs but the last one eventually booted them out. Needless to say, Mark and Bopper will stay as one of my favorite teams of all time.

I am excited to watch the two-hour finale on Monday (Manila Time). The teaser got me curious and the remaining four teams are all strong tandems.

Most people, at least Boxing fans, are betting their money on Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the upcoming match against Miguel Cotto. The event is happening on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Younger Mayweather has an impressive boxing credentials: 11 major world titles and a combined 79-2 record. But Cotto also has his strong points that we will never know the outcome of this fight until we see it then.

When my kids are bigger, I hope to teach them this too. It is after all a strategy game and makes one think and do math in the head.

These men, Jon Jones and Rashad Evans were suppose to face each other on March 24 but the bout was postponed because of the former’s injury. Now the two, former friends and training partners will finally fight it out in the octagon this weekend, April 21 for the Ultimate Fighting Championships 145. They will compete for the World Light Heavyweight belt. The event will be shown on pey-per-view at 9pm.

Our school board is considering to upgrade our current playground. Although we are only a year old, I think it is wise to already invest in a larger set since we are also expecting a higher number of enrollees this coming year. I saw this commercial playground online (image above) and will suggest to the board. My daughter will surely enjoy this too when she goes to visit the school!

Mo personally took this shot and shared with his followers. Somehow I found this quite amusing. Do you think so too? And there was no foul called on Carmelo Anthony. Funny how the referees did not see he was already literally on LeBron James’ face!

And sometimes I wonder why a lot of people think it is okay to do this to LeBron, that they think the poor guy deserves this. I say give the guy a break and consider his merits too.
