On January 11, Jakarta Globe reported that the Younghusband brothers of the Philippine’s Azkals were likely to sign a deal with the Jakarta Football Club. This Asian team is not sanctioned by the FIFA but is "a member of the breakaway National Football Indonesia Reform Movement.”
